Against the government's smear campaign through the national television, after more than 3 months of continuous protest, on August 26, 2008, hundreds of thousands of PAD stormed into the government head office to get the message across to the nation, to call for the world's attention and to get stronger grip upon the heart of the administration.

So far, appeal courts have lifted any orders against PAD protestors while the military stay out of the conflict and violence, only insisting on peaceful talk with PAD, leaving Samak's and Somchai's cabinets and Thaksin's PPP stranded outside the office to face several upcoming critical courts' verdicts to dissolve the party.
