On Saturday March 10, 2012 at 17:05 at Lumpini Hall, Lumpini park, Bankgok, Mr.Parnthep Puapongpan, PAD's spokesman read the PAD Announcement number 2/2012, Stop Corrupt Capitalists' Parliamentary Dictatorship, Unite to Reform Thailand as follows.
Following PAD's announcement number 1/2012 on February 22, 2012, PAD invited the leaders, coordinators, and representatives of PAD from all provinces and all groups throughout the country to convene on March 10, 2012 from 10:00. The outcome of the convention today is highly successful. We are grateful to the unity of all members joining in this convention and highly valuable ideas.
After hearing the convention, the core leaders of PAD concluded the results and evaluated the current situation. Then, a resolution for PAD to proceed is as follows.
1.Touring seminar visit to brother fellow people all over the country will be organized to expose facts to inform people about failures and present corrupt capitalists' parliamentary dictatorship which necessitate a major reform of Thailand, and to present the course of country reformation to the people all over the country.
2.In order to succeed in the major reform of Thailand, including economic, politic, and social aspects, PAD passed a resolution to set up a committee to campaign for reformation of Thailand (Reformation Campaign for Thailand Committee) which would consist of representatives from all sectors and regions of the country to involve in a major campaign to initiate reformation in Thailand. The detail will be announced later.
3.We insist that a major rally remains to be PAD's tool for the movement under following conditions.
3.1 Any actions, no matter constitution amendment or law enactment which may lead to alteration of the structure of Royal institution or decrease of His Majesty's Royal authority.
3.2 Any actions, no matter constitution amendment or law enactment which may lead to amnesty to the convicted Thaksin Shinawatra and the crony.
3.3 When the situation of the country becomes appropriate for the people to proceed to a major change of the country.
With such three conditions above whenever occur, PAD shall immediately organize a major rally.
We restate that Thailand has to halt Corrupt Capitalists' Parliamentary Dictatorship which is clear that it is a failure which devastates the nation and the people. Only commencement on a major political reform will be the exit of the country, for a great political change which will result in other reforms of the country in all aspects to enter fair and just governance for the eventual sustainable peace and prosperity of the country.
We pledge that PAD will continue the struggle ahd holding the ideologies at best.
