Ultimate objectives of PAD

       a. PAD wants to get rid of corruptions. Thaksin, the billionaire civilian dictator, has left Thailand with extensive high level of corruptions and proxy politicians. Having cheated the country while in power, Thaksin hid his corrupt billion of dollars worth of assets overseas. When ousted, Thaksin is subjected to numerous convictions but cowardly fled jail overseas and pull strings on politicians to sabotage his homeland.

       b. PAD protects the Monarchy. Thaksin wants to launder himself through amending the laws with his proxy politicians, while trying to abolish the Monoarchy and make himself a President, that is to cause turmoils and change Thailand from being a "Kingdom" to a "Republic" in stead.

       c. As a permanent cure for Thailand, PAD wants to get real democracy for Thailand. At present it is a fake democracy with bad on-sale politicians.

       d. To achieve all above a, b, c we have to get rid of Thaksin and his proxy politicians and punish them according to the laws.

Letters To The Speaker of The House And The PM, July 24, 2012, Withdraw The Draft Reconciliation Bill

    ( Last edit 2012-07-24 )

July 24, 2012 at Pra Arthit House, Mr.Panthep Puapongpan, a second generation core leader and spokesman of PAD announced the core leaders meeting's resolution that they agreed for Mr.Panthep and Vice Admiral Pratheep Chuen-arom to deliver a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives at the parliament today. Afterward, they will deliver another letter to Miss PM Yingluck Shinawatra at the government house, in order to tell them to withdraw the draft national reconciliation bill from the parliament's agenda. Mr.Sondhi Limpthongkul, a core leader of PAD stressed that if on August 1, 2012 the reconciliation bill remains on the urgent agenda, PAD will immediately commence on a rally and will not yield. The only option for the government is to withdraw it. Only postpone it is not enough. The letters are as follows:

    July 24, 2012
Title: Request For Withdrawal Of The Draft National Reconciliation Act
Your Excellency, The Speaker Of The Parliament and The House Of Representatives

Following PAD's repeated announcements that we shall hold mass rally to oppose any law enactment which would lead to whitewash or cancel the conviction of the fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra who is being on-the-run, and as well, if such law would launder the government's crony and government's supporters. Such law would unethically destroy legal state principle, check-and-balance principle, and obviously put government's supporters to be above the law and court's conviction. Such enactment would be illegal and unacceptable.

From the commencement of the legislation of the national reconciliation act, it is obvious that the law has create a great divisiveness among the citizens outside as well as inside the House of Representatives whereas actually the country is still facing other problems in which people are utterly suffering and waiting for help from the government. People suffered from flood, are not fairly and adequately receiving help. Goods are expensive because of increasing petrol and natural gas prices. There are also numerous other problems including sovereignty problems from border encroachment by a neighbouring country, as well as falling prices of agricultural commodities and corruptions, but the government is interested in law enactment to create divisiveness among the citizens, just for benefits of only a few politicians.

However, as the MPs agree to postpone the deliberation of the draft national reconciliation act to be at the top of the urgent list for the general convention term from August 1, 2012 onward, without revealing direction of how to proceed, we have to consider as if the House of Representative remains proceeding with the laundering law for their crony.

From the standpoint of the head of legislation which comes from the government coalition parties, we request you to coordinate with the MPs and relevant people to withdraw the draft national reconciliation act from the convention of the House of Representatives before August 1, 2012 in order to stop conflicts of the people in the country, to accept and respect the principle of lagal state, and to solve problems of the country and the people, to create peace and wealth which will create real unity among people in the country.

To fulfill the intent of the people who join PAD's rally, we would like to inform you that as soon as there appears to be the convention agenda for deliberation of the draft national reconciliation act, PAD will immediately hold a major rally which will be ready to move to any places until the withdrawal of the draft from the MPs' convention.

    For you information and consideration.

    Yours sincerely,
    Major General Chamlong Srimuang,
    Mr.Pipop Thongchai,
    Mr.Sondhi Limthongkul,
    Mr.Somkiat Pongpaibool,

    July 24, 2012
Title: Request For Withdrawal Of The Draft National Reconciliation Act
    Your Excellency, The Prime Minister,

Following PAD's repeated announcements that we shall hold mass rally to oppose any law enactment which would lead to whitewash or cancel the conviction of the fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra which was carried out under the Royalty's signature. Such law would also help Thaksin's crony get away from undergoing justice proceedings.

It is now obvious that the National Reconciliation Act is, in fact, the law to cancel the conviction of the fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra who is being on-the-run, and as well, launder the government's crony and government's supporters.

Since the government has the majority in the House of Representatives, the government coalition parties thus undeniably have the responsibility over the law. Therefore, we request you to manage, order and coordinate with the MPs to withdraw the draft national reconciliation act from the convention of the House of Representatives before August 1, 2012 in order to stop conflicts of the people in the country, to accept and respect the principle of lagal state, and to solve problems of the country and the people, to create peace and wealth which will create real unity among people in the country.
