Royal Cremations for the Late Angkana and the Late Methee

Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit's Royal and Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailakn
kindly paid an official visit to the the late Angkana Radubpanyawoot, a PAD protester, on October 13, 2008 at Sri Prawat Temple, Nonthaburi where more than ten thousand people including her PAD fellows paid the last visit as a tribute to honour Angkana's courage and sacrifice.
HM the Queen kindly talked to the relatives and the father of Angkana, praising her as a good girl who had rescued the nation and had helped save the monachy. HM the Queen kindly presided the event and proceed to the cremation pavillion by herself. The attending crowd with deepest appreciation, repeatedly chanted "Long Live the Queen".

Former Prime Minister Anand Panyarachoon and Head of the Opposition Party then, Abhisit Vejchacheewa, together with more than ten thousands of fellow PAD on October 14, 2008, attended the Cremation under Royal Patronage, of the late ex-police, Pol.Lt.Col. Methee Chartmontri. They paid the last visit as a tribute to honour Methee's courage and the sacrifice to this brave frontline PAD security chief from Buriram. The cremation was at Somanas Temple near the beseiged Government House.
