Ultimate objectives of PAD

       a. PAD wants to get rid of corruptions. Thaksin, the billionaire civilian dictator, has left Thailand with extensive high level of corruptions and proxy politicians. Having cheated the country while in power, Thaksin hid his corrupt billion of dollars worth of assets overseas. When ousted, Thaksin is subjected to numerous convictions but cowardly fled jail overseas and pull strings on politicians to sabotage his homeland.

       b. PAD protects the Monarchy. Thaksin wants to launder himself through amending the laws with his proxy politicians, while trying to abolish the Monoarchy and make himself a President, that is to cause turmoils and change Thailand from being a "Kingdom" to a "Republic" in stead.

       c. As a permanent cure for Thailand, PAD wants to get real democracy for Thailand. At present it is a fake democracy with bad on-sale politicians.

       d. To achieve all above a, b, c we have to get rid of Thaksin and his proxy politicians and punish them according to the laws.

    Pedigree of the Cowards

    ( Last edit 2009-04-15 )

Thaksin Shinawatra always wants to express himself successful, smart and competent. In fact, he is nothing but a cheap habitual liar and boastful coward. It was and has been his smart but low profile wife (then ex-wife now) Potjaman who bravely steered his original nearly bankrupt computer business through several difficult debt negotiations. From his later practising of business, he approached the center of the power and monopolized the telecommunication concession and the only national satellite following a secret deal with military coup leaders General Sunthorn Kongsompong and General Suchinda Kraprayoon who staged a coup and seized power from a civillian government in February 1991.

Thaksin, father of all the cowards, has been so fearful of being checked out. His family had hidden all his treasures up to hundreds of million baht worth of shares around the house, the family trees, and all of their cronies' names e.g. his friends, his secretary, his lawyers, his servants, his gardeners and drivers before entering politics. One can name anybody about the house, and there it is, his nominee, holding assets for Thaksin in his or her name. They even bother to hide their assets in various off-shore islands.

Shinawatras have to hide the assests since the family's assets would have to be transparently reported to NCCC and rechecked for unusual lost and gain over time. Moreover, the conflicts of interests when Thaksin is in power would be invisible whereas Tax frauds can be easily covered up. Invisible assets can go unchecked for vote-buying as well as bribing to pave ways for more profitable commission.

His own two consecutive reports of the family assets before the first PM term in 2001 turned out to be significantly conflicting whereas his gardeners and drivers were found holding their bosses' shares. Thaksin was indicted in the Constitution court. Bad enough, with Thaksin's crocodile's tear on the defendant's pit, he narrowly escaped it by 8 to 7 and walk free. Later, some Constitutioin Court judges revealed bribery scandals involving a connection via an ex-judge Somchai Wongsawat, brother-in-law of Thaksin, husband of Yaowapa Shinawatra, younger sister of Thaksin.

( Somchai Wongsawat was later rapidly and exceptionally promoted as permanent secretaries in some Ministries under Thaksin Government.)

Thaksin, father of all the cowards, was so fearful of being checked out again. After the general election in 2001, he monopolized the House of Parliament through total acquisition of all alliance parties to make his own Thai Rak Thai party as big as possible and well consolidated under his feet. All various factions in his coalition were dissolved with monthly undertable salary for MPs.

Throughout Thaksin's Prime Minister's term, he refused to debate in the house against the only opposition party, the Democrat. The 1997 constitution also offered a big loop hole for Thaksin by over strengthening PM's seat when the government secured a significant majority in the house. Thaksin managed to go free without any direct debate upon him throughout his two terms. While outside the house, Shin corp cheaply acquired ITV, a public TV channel previously in financial troubles, to lead the public opinions. Thaksin also controlled media through huge regular advertisement budgets of his family's networks of telecommunication businesses, particularly AIS, the successful market leader in mobile phone and telecommunications of the Shinawatras.

During Thaksin's Prime Minister's term at the peak of his popularity and political stength in 2004, the terrorist activities in the three southernmost provinces of Thailand started. In a matter of months he concluded that they were rubbish bandits which may be easily defeated. However, toward the end of his term, hundreds of innocent people, civillian officers, teachers, and monks were killed, but he never set his feet near the troubled area to boost morale of the officers and the locals who were so frightened by the terrorrists daily activities which included bombs, nonselective killing, beheading, sporadic shooting.

As an ousted PM-in-exile around the end of 2006, he flew to UK, praising her as a democratic country which would appreciate true democracy better than Thailand under military regime. Thaksin bought a Mansion in UK claiming that he would not re-enter politics and would return to solemnly stand trials against any accusations in the Court of laws only when the government is democratic because he was so apprehensive of threats of assasination.

Like the past debt negotiation, he sent his wife (then ex-wife now) Potjaman back home alone at the beginning of 2007 to return to talk a deal with the miliaty appointed interim government and the President of the Privy Council, Gen.Prem Tinnasulanond whom he single-sidedly accused of being the mastermind behind the coup which kicked him out. It was likely that Potjaman would also try all possible powerful connections and attractive negotiations to pave way for Thaksin to return gracefully.

While the wife then, bravely put a bold face on, cowardly hiding Thaksin dug up his hidden money from nowhere about 200 million USD to buy the Manchester City Football Club. In entering politics, he had been supposed to give a truthful report about this amount of money, but this money has never been accountable for in Thaksin's report. Less than a year later, MCFC and local supporters must have smelt something really bad so much that they kicked Thaksin out from the ownership. Thaksin boasted again that he made a nearly double profit from selling the club. Apparently, this unusual profit could well be a simple arrangement for money laundering.

    Lick the airport floor

Cowardly Thaksin managed to return home to stand trials only when his proxy PM Samak Sundaravej secured all fronts in March 2008. After the show-off kissing of the airport floor, his lawyers team was caught red-handed committing a 70,000 USD bribery in the Supreme Court of Criminal Cases of Political Officers.

Cowardly Shinawtras denied involvement to leave their lawyers jailed by themselves. Having lost the first case of Tax frauds with sentence to jail for Potjaman and the nominees, cowardly Shinawatras, lying that they would return after the Chinese Olympic Games in Beijing, jumped the bails and off they flew away to U.K. in August 2008, leaving their cronies, puppet politicians and their red-shirts supporters fight to amend the constitution for Thaksin's white wash.

Since the Democrat Party won the House in December 2008, Kasit Pirom, a member of the party has been appointed to be the Foreign Minister in Abhisit's cabinet. Because Kasit has boldly expressed his political opposition against Thaksin, particularly joining People's Alliance For Democracy, on the rally in 2008, it is likely that Kasit, an experience Ambassador to several countries, including USA, would be the keen hunter of the sentenced-to-jail fugitive Thaksin. Kasit has been a prime target, apart from PM Abhisit, of Thaksin's cronies both inside the parliament and outside, on the red-shirt rally stage. Kasit survived a vote of confidence and came out to challenge Thaksin for a debate duel. Despite several single-sided accusation and attacks against Kasit by Thaksin, Thaksin does not accept the duel challenge and has no courage to mention Kasit again.

Thaksin's puppet party, Pua Thai, lost the battle of the vote of confidence to Abhisit's Democrat coalition in middle of March 2009, after Abhisit's cabinet has worked for only four months. This lost is another blow to the hope of coward Thaksin while the Supreme Criminal Court has started the proceeding of the frozen Thaksin's assets worth of two billion USD. A successful ASEAN summit meeting and leaving Abhisit's cabinet to solve the country's economic problems would dim Thaksin's chance to launder himself. Therefore, Thaksin has stepped up his campaign directly to call for his supporters in red shirts to stage a mass rally in Bangkok, expecting to cause turmoils and possible an invitation for a coup to overthrow Abhisit. Thaksin desperately wants his victory as quick as possible.

    red mob

April is always the hottest month in Thailand. This year, it rains heavily on some days. Whereas Thaksin phoned in from somewhere safe and comfortable, to provoke the rallying crowd, his poor supporters mostly from the north and northeast had to endure all the hardship to bring justice back for Thaksin's return free. False hope, various fabricated lies as well as money (500 baht per head per day on top of free ride of bus from home), beer, whiskey, keep the crowd going but lesser and lesser everyday. Thaksin urged his highly-paid politicians to bring more people in, and for them to get on the stage to fight for justice, new democracy, House dissolution and for his return to Thailand. It is always business as usual when Thaksin would not have to really care the safety and comfort of his supporters.

Shinawatras family, Thaksin's 3 children in their 20's, Wongsawats family never showed up in the red-shirt rally. Only on April 9 when there was a rumour that they had flown away abroad, Yaowapa Wongsawat (Thaksin's sister) wife of Somchai, MP Chinicha, her daughter and Yinglak Shinawatra showed up at the rally stage to give away red scarves for 15 minutes and out, they went.

15 minutes show up and away

The fact was that Potjaman and Praethongtan, a daughter had flown out to Hong Kong since April 6. Pinthongta flew out to UK on April 7. Somchai and Panthongtae, the son of Thaksin flew to Dubai on April 7. Yaowapa and Chinicha flew to Singapore on April 14. They must have been told by Thaksin to enjoy Songkran Festival abroad during Thaksin's supporters risking their lives in the heat of the up-coming turmoils in the country.

    Full House Abroad

After the Supreme criminal court found Thaksin's guilty and ordered assets seizure in February 2010, and just before the step-up of Red-shirts violent campaign in March and April 2010 Thaksin's children and the ex-wife again took departure flights to comfortable sanctuary abroad leaving the poor red-shirts fight on the street for Thaksin's amnesty. After Thaksin's mercenary terrorism on April 10, 2010, they returned to repack and get some more forex and flew out again before the crackdown of the red-shirts.
