A Video footage by "EXPERTLY" posted on May 15, 2010, likely to be taken from Rama IV road near Bon Kai neighbourhood, shows a masked gunmen in black walked away from red rioters who had set fire to the tyres in the middle of the road and prepared to fight against soldiers (on the 37-39th seconds). About the 60th second, after being pressured, the masked gunmen in black holding a rifle ran back into the cover of the red rioters.
Dindaeng Triangle
Red-shirts set fire to tyre stacks to make smoke screen and walls of fire barricade at the main Dindaeng Triangle junction.
Baby Hostage
At a red frontline, a red-shirt father in taxi uniform put his baby up over tyre wall barricade to show off against soldiers. Lots of children protesters accompany women red-shirts from upcountry. Neither red-shirts leaders nor the families of the children pay enough attention to the welfare, hygine and safety of the children. Despite of filthy environments due to accumulation of garbages and wastes, as well as presence of armed terrorists, their parents insist on protesting.
Funding to Red Ralliers
Jaral Ditha-pichai, one of the red-shirt leaders admitted sources of funding the protest came from Thaksin Shinawatra and his ex-minister in TRT party, Sudarat Kayyurapan. Poor people from upcountry as well as motorcycle cabs are paid to recruit people to join the rallies.
